The Holly and Ivy Christmas House Tour
Proceeds from the 2009 Holly and Ivy Christmas House Tour will be presented to Warmheart
Palliative Caregivers Sudbury/Manitoulin. Present to accept the donation will be Jeannette Carriere.
The Holly and Ivy Tour of Homes is run annually in November. This year the proceeds are going to the Warmhears Palliative
Caregivers Sudbury/Manitoulin. In the past, the proceeds have gone to a number of community charities and organizations.
Support has been given to the Young Adult Supportive Care Program NEORCC, Alzheimer's and Chron's Society, Cancer Unit Laurentian
Hospital, Genevra House, Foyer Notre Dame, Family Services House Network North(playground structure), and House of Kin(hotel
at very reduced rates for cancer patients and their family), the RideShare Program Northern Ontario Families of Children with
Cancer and Big Sisters, just to name a few.

2009/2010 CAR WASH/YARD SALE
Please join us on Saturday June 5th, 2010 for our next Car Wash/Yard Sale and help support
our worthwhile cause.
Last years car wash/yard sale, run on Saturday June 6th, 2009, at Bianco's
Movie Center on Barrydowne Rd., and the old the old Praxair Building on Barrydowne Rd., was a huge success.
Members of our chapter, their children, grandchildren, husbands and friends joined in to help wash the many cars and trucks
that stopped in to support our worthy cause, helping children, youth and those in need in our community. Proceeds
went to support the Sudbury Action Center for Youth, SACY. For more information on SACY please call 673-4396.

2009 Holly and Ivy Tour
The 2010 Holly and Ivy House Tour will be held on Sunday November 14th. The recipient of this years
donation is still to be determined. Mark this on your calander.
This years tour will again have FIVE homes decorated for Christmas. You and your friends can enjoy
a relaxing day of touring these lovely homes at your leisure. At some point in the day stop by the Marguerite Lougheed
Center for coffee and dessert(included in the ticket price). There will also be a bake table, so you can take a little
piece of the Christmas spirit home with you. The beautiful table center pieces will again be available for purchase
this year.
Tickets will be available at: Applecart Collectables,Apollo restaurant, Barrydowne Paint and Wallpaper(New
Sudbury, Long Lake Rd.), El Mercado(Sudbury and Chelmsford), Flower Lady, Flowertowne, Forget-me-not Flowers(Lively), Leprechaun,
Madrigal, Paris Hair Spa, Petal Pushers(Val Caron), Classic Image Esthetics and Day Spa(Levesque St.), and
1st Rate Auto Sales(Kingsway). The cost of the ticket will still be $20.
