Canada is a national women’s charitable organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for individuals,
through education support, community service and citizenship programs.
What does IODE stand for?
“IODE is a Canadian women’s charitable organization, serving Canada since 1900”.
What do the letters IODE stand for? – “The letters stand for our historical roots, but
our focus is on women dedicated to a better Canada.”
What does IODE do? – “IODE supports projects for children, youth and those in need. We
promote pride in our country, we support our troops, we provide scholarships and bursaries to students and awards to outstanding
Canadians” and as well, speak to what is being done locally in your community.
